Extract from papers respecting Banishment of Cheung Hoi.

Cheung loi or Cheung Ho Un was a witness in

a Tsz Fa case that Inspector Mathieson had about 5 years ago. I think this is the only time he has given evidence in

a gambling case. He has given valuable information in other cases. He held a licence to sell opium under the Yan Wo Opium Farmers and while the Government carried on the Farm, He is now half owner of the Fung Kat pawnshop No.193 Queen Road West,out of which he doubtless gets a good living.
